How offensive is this guy's total ignorance of Buddhism and his dismissal of all other religions to this card-carrying Buddhist?

 Mm -- very.  But in a dharmic context.

Who does he think he is?

Oh, right. He's just being proud and godly, not repulsive and arrogant. Blessed are the meek, dude.

Another fake Christian in need of remedial Sunday School.

OK, so maybe this blog is the result of the reaction of the reactive mind, but so it goes, does it not?

I said I was Buddhist, I never said I was a good Buddhist (as Gene Ryack, Mel Gibson's character in the great uber-Buddhist film, "Air America," once remarked).

Not to mention fundamentalist Muslims (which I won't mention), nor crackpot HIndus, but lately I've had right-wing Roman Catholics ramming their specific religious beliefs and behaviors down my throat, I've had Talibangelical crappycultychristists trying to ram their specific beliefs and behaviors down my throat ... sheesh.

And now I'm ramming mine right back.  So to speak.

Forewarned is forearmed.

The War on crappychristists

The rightwing talking heads have been talking and talking about the War on Christianity.  And now, what they say is actually coming true.

Buddhist Jihad is hereby declaring War on the Ignorance of Cultycrappychristists.

(Not on real Christians, mind you, but on the ignorance of Cultycrappychristists -- see preceding post).

And on passion, aggression, and ignorance (see preceding sentence).

There.

That was easy.

It will be a long war and a hard war.  It will go on and on and on.

There will be no killing beyond the death of ego.

Deal with it, people.
